THE Airport was and is a famous club in the Wuerzburg area, playing pop, dance, R&B, and all the types of electronic music that you can imagine. While I was stationed at nearby Leighton Barracks, it was easily my favorite club.
IT was a place of smoke machines and 2 for 1 Red Bull & Vodkas or Hefeweisens, a place of giant video projection screens and a hall for live shows, spiral staircases and chill out rooms, coat checks and bouncers the size of your BMW. Tight black clothes were in and the girls were goddesses, wearing skin tight clothes and platform moon shoes, dancing on stage or in cages suspended from the ceiling.
FROM Kitzingen to Giebelstadt, Ochsenfurt to Biebelried, people would come from all over.
