The Vengaboys were definitely a new kind of group to me. Back then, I had never seen anything like them. It was only later that I realized that they embodied the lighthearted, fun-loving, goofy spirit of Euro Pop, much of which I would later dance my ass off to in many a club, pub, or dancehall. I have nothing but love for it now.
